All of this adds up to making it one of the worst Evil Ex battles in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The Katayanagi Twins have by far the least screen presence of the Exes in the entire film, and that's likely because the movie was being written as the comic that introduces them came out. The problem is this battle is over before it begins. Scott and his band, Sex Bob-Omb, are slated to engage in a simultaneous Battle of the Bands against them, and they each play music that generates an epic monster battle. the World, viewers are introduced to the fifth and sixth Evil Exes, the Katayanagi Twins. The original Scott Pilgrim comics were an action-packed comedy with a ton of heart that was so popular that it even got a film adaptation before the comics wrapped up.but by doing this, some of the more meaningful parts had to be cut out because they didn't exist yet. ![]() While Scott Pilgrim has been in multiple epic fights across different mediums, his most anticlimactic Evil Ex battle in the film originally had way more meaning in the source material.
